We are currently seeking a

Field Sales Engineer (Technical Sales)

South-Central England / Oxford / Cambridge (UK)

Home Based

From your home office, you will support and further develop our customers in South-Central England / Oxford / Cambridge in this strategically important sales role. As a specialist, you will sell our entire product portfolio and develop our sales area by maintaining existing customer contacts within engineering and manufacturing departments.

What we expect from you:

  • Pre-sales support, analyzing target groups, and identifying customer needs.
  • Budget and profit responsibility within your sales territory.
  • Acquisition of new customers and expansion of existing contacts in the electronics industry.
  • Responding to customer inquiries and developing technical solutions with our product teams.
  • Representing the company and products at trade fairs and events.
  • Planning and executing workshops, tech days, and webinars for key accounts and partners.
  • Supporting the inside sales team to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Regular sales activity reporting to management.
  • Maintaining customer master data independently.

Application requirements:

  • Degree in electrical/electronic engineering or related technical field, or equivalent sales experience.
  • Several years of relevant professional sales experience is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of electromechanics or semiconductor technologies is desirable but not mandatory; training is provided.
  • Residence within the assigned sales area is essential.
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Willingness to travel frequently (at least 50%) within your territory.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Teams, Salesforce, Power BI.
  • Hands-on mentality and a proactive approach.
  • Enthusiasm, commitment, and analytical thinking.
  • Well-groomed appearance and friendly demeanor.
  • Strong social skills and team orientation.
