At Halo Leisure, our mission is simple: “Creating Healthier Communities.” We provide affordable, accessible leisure facilities that help people of all ages stay active and healthy. We are looking for a confident, friendly, and reliable individual to join our supportive team in Ross-on-Wye.
This is a dynamic dual role where you will be the face of our centre. You will balance the vital responsibility of poolside safety with the high-energy environment of our reception desk. Whether you are ensuring a safe swim or providing a warm welcome at the front door, you’ll be essential to our customers' experience.
As a Lifeguard, you will:
Provide safe supervision of the pool area and prevent accidents.
Respond quickly to emergencies, performing rescues and first aid when required.
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional poolside environment.
As a Front of House Assistant, you will:
Provide a professional welcome and helpful information to all visitors.
Efficiently handle bookings, memberships, and general enquiries.
Process payments accurately and maintain high customer service standards.
We operate a 4-week rolling rota to help you plan your work-life balance.
Hours: 20 hours per week.
Shifts: A mixture of early and late shifts.
Qualification: A National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is preferred. However, if you have the drive, we may provide training for the right candidate.
Personality: A proactive, "can-do" attitude with excellent interpersonal skills.
Composure: The ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
Experience: Previous customer-facing experience is a plus, but not essential.
