A leading defense consultancy in the UK is seeking a Social Value Manager to enhance social value across various projects. Our Defence and Security teams provide design and engineering services for our nuclear and defence clients across the UK and abroad. Our team is experiencing exciting growth and long-term prospects within our established practice, and we are looking for a Social Value Manager with transferable skills who are passionate about developing themselves and in meeting new challenges.
There is flexibility to tailor the role to individual interests, career aspirations and life commitments. The role can be delivered through a hybrid model of home and office working. Part-time working arrangements will be considered – please state your preferred working hours as part of your application. Travel to UK‑based client sites will be required, alongside face‑to‑face community and stakeholder engagement.

As a Social Value Manager (Defence) within Amentum’s Energy & Environment International Social Value capability, you will play a key role in shaping, delivering and embedding social value across a diverse portfolio of projects. You will work closely with clients, communities, supply chains and internal teams to design and deliver practical, outcome‑focused social value solutions that create lasting benefit.
The role combines the chance to work hands‑on in delivering a varied range of social value programmes, and also to support our clients in planning, managing, delivering and measuring social value effectively.
