Qualifications

  • Must be a registered nurse or ODP with a recognized post-graduate qualification.
  • Significant experience at Band 5 or above in Orthopaedic theatre.
  • Ability to manage junior staff is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Orthopaedic Team and enhance patient care delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with procedures in the theatre environment.
  • Assist in preparing and handling patients effectively.

Skills

Significant experience in Orthopaedic scrub and circulating practice
Good written, numeracy & verbal communications skills
Ability to work under pressure
Attention to detail

Education

Registered Nurse/ODP
Recognised Post Graduate Theatre Course ENB176
Mentorship Course or demonstrated willingness to enrol
