Job summary

Salary

Up to £34,000 Dependent on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing
  • Manage the buy of electronic components through the life of the contract and in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Liaise closely with the local procurement team and other internal functions
  • Align work to pre-determined metrics and achieve schedule adherence
  • Manage allocated suppliers on performance, cost, quality, schedule and risk
  • Support and deliver supply chain and continuous improvement strategies
  • Be an advocate for the Procurement Function
Your skills and experiences
  • Proficient electronic component buying experience
  • SAP experience
  • Experience in the defence industry (preferred but not essential)

Supply Chain Function – Manufacturing Hillend

Team of 9 people, focussed on day to day support on providing sourcing activity – covering both external and internal programmes, all end products & military applications within the defence industry. Hillend is a world class manufacturing capability.
