A diverse procurement team is seeking a Procurement Professional for a 12-month FTC in Glascoed. The role involves ensuring the accuracy of procurement data for strategic decisions, managing compliance requirements for suppliers, and negotiating contracts. Ideal candidates will have strong negotiation and analytical skills, along with a working knowledge of SAP and Excel. Job Title: Procurement Professional – 12 Month FTC
Location: Radway Green/Glascoed
Salary: Up to £43,000 depending on skills and experience

You will be able to demonstrate dedication, commitment and discipline to ensure successful delivery of key objectives and have the ability to engage and influence internal stakeholders. You will communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, exercising appropriate levels of courtesy, diplomacy and tact, in line with the Business’s Code of Conduct.
You will be able to discuss details involving the category area, including technical information where appropriate, and able to negotiate tactically both with suppliers, and internally at an operational level.
Willingness to travel to suppliers to participate in business reviews and be embedded with suppliers as part of Supplier Performance improvement activity.
