A leading renewable energy company in the UK is seeking an Onshore Wind Turbine Service Technician Apprentice. You will work towards a level 3 qualification while gaining hands-on experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety procedures. Successful candidates must have relevant GCSE qualifications, be at least 18 years old by September 2026, and possess a full UK driving license. The role offers a starting salary of £16,000 and various benefits including holiday allowance and salary sacrifice schemes.
As an OnshoreWind Turbine Service Technician Apprentice, you will pursue a level 3 qualification (equivalent to NVQ). The course is titled: Maintenance Operations & Engineering Technician.
You will receive training in all facets of the wind turbine service technician role, including industry standard safety training and safe ways of working.
During the first year of your apprenticeship, your primary base will be at our partner training provider which is located in Scunthorpe, where you will undertake General Electrical / Mechanical training in both practical and theory-based sessions.
In years 2 & 3, your learning will primarily be hands‑on experience working with our service team on site, this will be on the site that you have been recruited to work on.
