From our London HQ, we unite world-class researchers and engineers in an environment that values deep exploration and methodical execution - because the best ideas take time to evolve. Together we’re building a world-class platform to amplify our teams’ most powerful ideas.
Security is foundational to this mission and must be delivered in a way that supports how our engineering teams build and operate complex systems at scale.
Take the next step in your career.
Our engineering teams build and operate platforms and products that underpin research, modelling and client trading. These systems are performance-critical, highly available and continuously evolving.
Security issues are identified through testing, audit, operational learning and threat intelligence. Addressing them effectively requires engineers who can work directly within product and platform teams, understand systems in depth and deliver fixes as part of normal development workflows.
The embedded Security Engineering team exists to make that happen. As a Security Engineer in the team, you will embed within delivery teams, learn their codebases and architectures and take responsibility for designing and implementing robust security fixes in production systems. This includes writing production-quality code, participating fully in planning and delivery and ensuring solutions align with performance and reliability requirements.
Beyond fixing individual issues, you will help identify recurring patterns, drive improvements that reduce systemic risk and leave teams better equipped to build and operate secure systems over time.
This role carries significant responsibility and autonomy, requiring sound technical judgement and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, consensus-driven engineering environment.
