Job description

Logoplaste UK, are currently seeking to recruit aMaintenance Engineer.

Reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor, responsibilities include maintaining and repairing production equipment and implementing ongoing continuous improvement activities.

Key tasks & Activities

• Plans and carries out scheduled preventive maintenance tasks on the site's equipment.
• Responds effectively to equipment breakdowns in order to minimize downtime and establish the root cause.
• Attends site and engineering meetings to align the plan of work for the day with the production teams.
• Plans, implements, and coordinates safety programs to prevent or correct unsafe environmental working conditions, promoting workplace and equipment safety by identifying and monitoring potential hazards to people or the site's equipment.
• Ensures SAP is up to date including accurate engineering history, time worked, and parts components are booked to correct SAP maintenance transactions.

Who we are looking for

Background and Experience

• Previous experience (electrically biased)
• Good logical thought process regarding fault diagnosis and rectification
• Experience in Automation and Packaging machines in production environment would be advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of PLCs and Inverter drives would be advantageous.
• PLC 18th edition would be advantageous.
• Proficient with PC based systems (Excel, SAP) to oversee routine and organise repairs, although training will be given.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety.
