We are recruiting for a Strategic People & Culture Business Partner to join the senior leadership team in the People & Culture Directorate. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our workforce and culture, working with an engaged leadership team committed to making BHRUT a great place to work for everyone. Reporting to the Associate Director of People, the role is a key member of the senior management team within the People and Culture Team, embedded within Clinical Groups as well as supporting leadership teams within Corporate Services. The role will line manage People & Culture Business Partners and will support the delivery of Directorate objectives and leadership/culture alignment with our values.
The Strategic People & Culture Business Partner (SPCBP) will serve as a key strategic advisor to senior leadership within the Clinical Groups and will be integrated into the Triumvirate team. The postholder will align People and Culture initiatives with the organisations strategic goals and the Clinical Groups goals and objectives. Acting as a conduit between all People & Culture teams and the Clinical Groups, the SPCBP provides strategic leadership on workforce matters, shapes the People Strategy, improves organisational culture, supports workforce transformation and ensures initiatives such as the NHS People Promise are embedded in practice. Within their areas of responsibility the SPBP will drive inclusive, compassionate leadership to create a high performing, healthy and engaged workforce that supports the delivery of excellent patient care. The role includes accountability for improvements in all hard and soft People & Culture KPIs and metrics, and the ability to encapsulate matrix working within the People & Culture team will be crucial to delivery. The SPBP is accountable for the delivery of People & Culture programmes that support the Employee Lifecycle.
