Fixed Income Platform Architect/Engineer
VP | London
BlackRock Global Markets (BGM) is investing in its capabilities to accelerate growth in BlackRock’s Fixed Income Asynchronous Liquidity Provisioning Strategy in EMEA.
BlackRock is transforming trading from a static one-way trading process to a networked, asynchronous trading platform to increase trading and alpha opportunities for clients.
The new liquidity platform is a centralized platform that will enable BlackRock’s investment teams to interact systematically with internal and external liquidity pools at scale, advancing BlackRock’s role in integrating liquidity across investors and the trading ecosystem.
The platform’s event-based technology enables investment teams to run algo-based process automation and build business scale while setting the market standard in liquidity provisioning.
This is an exciting opportunity to operate at the intersection of Investments, Markets, and Technology as we transform how BLK provisions liquidity, capture more share, and extend liquidity opportunities as the platform and ecosystem evolve.
A successful candidate will be familiar with management of a wide range of funds and have strong technology skills, allowing them to develop robust prototypes to improve the PM/Trading investment process. In this role they will have the opportunity to partner with various PM, Trading, and Technology teams to guide the integration of these prototypes into their workflows and evolve them into production components built into core BlackRock production technology.
