Dental Assistant – 2 Days per Week (Newport, QLD)

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, reliable Dental Assistant to join our modern family practice in Newport.

This is a casual position (2-3 days per week) with opportunities to grow as our clinic expands.

Position available for Thurs‑Fri‑Sat with extended hours on Thursday.

The Role

Chairside assisting for a range of general and restorative procedures.

Sterilisation and infection control duties.

Preparation and maintenance of dental surgeries.

Stock and materials organisation.

Assisting with patient communication and scheduling when needed.

About You

Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting (or equivalent experience).

Minimum 1 year of chairside experience preferred with knowledge of sterilisation protocols.

Confident, calm, and professional under pressure.

Have worked with EXACT previously.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Reliable and proactive with attention to detail.

Permanent resident or Australian citizen.
