A municipal authority is seeking a Forestry Arboriculture Student for the Summer of 2026 in Kingston upon Thames. The successful candidate will assist skilled arborists in tree maintenance, including pruning, minor removals, and supporting forestry program planning. Assisting team of skilled labourer arborist in tree maintenance/tree care with tree pruning, minor tree removals, tree stumping, traffic control and job site cleanliness.
Assist forestry technical team in tree stake removals, re‑establishing mulch beds on newly planted trees and minor field tree data collection.
Assist in the planning of new tree planting programs and resident communications.
Other duties as assigned.
Shift hours of operation are between 7:00 am and 3:00 pm, (Monday to Friday). Must be available to start full‑time work as of May 4, 2026, varied shifts including evenings and weekends.
