Position Summary

• Provide public education surrounding waste management and implementation of automated cart collection
• Assist with additional promotion and education duties
• Attend information sessions, community events, or other educational opportunities as they arise.
• Assist with the oversight and completion of waste audits and waste participation surveys.
• Other duties as assigned
• Shift hours of operation are between 5:30 am and 7:00 pm, (Monday to Friday)
• Must be available to start full-time work as of May 4, 2026, varied shifts are possible

Qualifications, Competencies

• MUST BE ENROLLED IN AND RETURNING TO FULL-TIME SECONDARY OR POST SECONDARY STUDIES IN FALL OF 2026 – Verification will be required
• A valid Class 'G' driver's licence is required
• Must demonstrate corporate values of Belonging, Collaboration, Accountability, and Innovation

• Ability to work alone or in a team environment
• Proven customer service skills
• Ability to work outside in inclement weather conditions
• Must be able to follow instructions and complete daily work assignments
