• Experience of working successfully in a fleet engineering role.
• High level of IT literacy.
• Comfortable with pace and fluidity.
• Able to produce and deliver PowerPoint presentations.

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive safety culture in line with safety first principles.
• Conduct investigations into vehicle/safety issues.
• Lead and line manage the Fleet Maintenance team.
• Manage vehicle breakdowns and workshop performance.
• Develop relationships with key suppliers.
• Maintain effective relationships with other functions.

Skills

Experience of vehicle engineering/maintenance

Sound understanding of transport legislation

Excellent communication skills

Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills
