Apprentice HVAC Engineer

Location: Basildon. This role will include working across London and the South East.

To get on this apprenticeship programme we require GCSE English and Maths at grade 5 (C) or above. Please include your certificates in your application alongside your UK Driving licence.

What You’ll Be Up To

• Spend significant time at client sites, installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC equipment. Work across diverse environments, including sports stadiums, data centres, and office buildings.
• Collaborate with qualified Johnson Controls engineers who will mentor you, helping you develop HVAC skills.
• Focus on energy efficiency by analysing systems, identifying improvements, and making recommendations to building owners.
• Have a customer-facing element, interacting with clients to understand needs and deliver service.
• Represent Johnson Controls with effective communication and professionalism in customer interactions.
• Opportunities for growth to apply college learning in a real workplace setting and develop technical and practical skills in HVAC.

College of North West London
Level 3 Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Engineering
Mix of college learning and hands-on mentoring; college will be in a block format.
