King Lifting provides safe, expert crane hire, bespoke contract lifting and plant machinery movement, plus transport and storage, for the public and private sectors. We work throughout the UK and Europe and are head-quartered in Bristol where we also run a renowned Training Centre.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Administration Assistant to perform the role of a Hire Desk Assistant for our busy West Drayton office within our General Cranes division. This role provides lots of scope for individuality, continuous improvement and achievement when presented with numerous challenges. The role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys providing both team support and handling a

variety of administrative tasks.

This is our biggest and busiest depot, so the role will be challenging as well as rewarding with the opportunity for development and progression within the business.

Key Responsibilities will include:
  • Providing excellent customer service via calls and emails
  • Preparing quotes and drafting contracts
  • Working closely with Head Office to resolve invoice queries and input timesheets into the system
  • Ensuring trackers are regularly updated with accurate information and comments
  • Attend weekly meeting to confirm all invoicing is accurate and ready for distribution
  • Supporting the Hire Desk with administrative duties

You will also assist with the management of the welfare, safety and working hours of all related personnel, the working success of the Hire Desk and for environmental, health and safety legal & statutory requirements within the depot.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have..

  • A minimum of 2 years' administration experience
  • Full working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Professional with excellent communication (written and verbal) and organisation skills
  • Prioritisation and the ability to work under pressure independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail

Previous working experience on a Hire Desk or working within a crane/plant hire company, would be an advantage.

This is an office-based role so you to be considered, you must live within a daily commutable distance of West Drayton.
