Job summary

A healthcare provider in Scarborough is seeking a Craftsperson (Mechanical) Plumber to conduct maintenance and repair services. You will work within a small team, delivering services across Trust properties. Key requirements include a recognized mechanical apprenticeship and mechanical bias qualification. Qualifications

• Successful completion of a recognised mechanical bias apprenticeship.
• NVQ Level 3 (mechanical bias) or equivalent and relevant qualification.
• Working knowledge of mechanical (H&C water systems) in complex properties.

Responsibilities

• Provide an efficient maintenance and repair service to Trust properties.
• Carry out installation and improvement works across contracted sites.
• Participate in the on-call service.

Skills

Working knowledge of mechanical (H&C water systems)

Experience of working in an NHS environment

Multi-skilled mechanical experience

Good working knowledge of health and safety legislation

Ability to manage time and prioritize

Education

Successful completion of a recognised mechanical bias apprenticeship

NVQ Level 3 (mechanical bias) or equivalent

Numeracy and Literacy to level 2
