A leading healthcare provider is looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join their team at Pendean Care Home in Midhurst. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and previous experience in a kitchen environment. Responsibilities include assisting chefs, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring residents enjoy a high-quality dining experience. This role offers a competitive pay of £12.25 – £13.25 per hour, with various benefits such as healthcare support and holidays.
Pendean Care Home, Off Oaklands Lane, West Lavington, Midhurst GU29 0E. Covering maternity leave. (Start Date April 25th 2026) £12.25 – £13.25 depending on experience. Hours: 8am to 2pm and 5:30pm to 7:30pm. Contract: 24 hours.

A passion for food with previous experience working in a kitchen and a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate. You want to deliver an excellent service at each meal and make our residents feel at home. You'll understand the importance of maintaining high standards in and around the home, ensuring our residents enjoy a pleasant dining experience. Working with the wider kitchen and care home teams — you're comfortable communicating with others, cherishing the little moments with our residents.
