Job summary

A leading talent assessment firm in Greater London is seeking an Account Executive to drive new business acquisition and deepen client relationships. This full-time, permanent role requires a minimum of 4 years in account management or business development within a B2B SaaS environment. You will be responsible for managing the sales cycle, from outreach to closing, while collaborating with marketing and product teams. Competitive salary with attractive benefits is offered.

Job description

Working arrangement: At least 3 days in the office, ideally 4 days

Job type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Competitive + attractive benefits package + competitive commissions plan

This role offers the chance to join our sales function during a time where the product is evolving, our positioning is expanding and we’re re-imagining what’s possible in terms of generating opportunity and growing new business revenue.

From winning new clients and deepening & expanding relationships with existing clients, our Account Executive will have a client first approach built into their mentality which we will see reflected in everything they do.

Responsibilities
  • Mid-market Clients - New Business Acquisition: Win new clients to expand our customer base.
  • Account Growth: Deepen relationships within existing accounts by identifying upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities.
  • Outbound Sales: outreach via cold calling and emails.
  • Sales Cycle Management: Own the entire sales process - from initial outreach, discovery, and proposal through to negotiation, closing, and onboarding with the support of Saville consulting and product resources.
  • Strategic Account Planning: Develop and execute tailored account growth plans to maximize long-term revenue.
  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as a trusted advisor, ensuring client satisfaction, retention, and loyalty.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to deliver best-in-class client experiences and solutions.
  • Pipeline and Forecasting: Maintain accurate sales pipeline data and forecasting through CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot).
Requirements
Knowledge and Experience:
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in an Account Executive, Account Manager, or Business Development role within the Mid-Market client space, ideally B2B SaaS and with knowledge of HR Tech or talent assessment industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales and account growth targets.
  • Have worked with a sales methodology that underpins a consultative selling approach i.e. MEDDIC.
  • Strong skills in prospecting, cold outreach, and closing new deals.
  • Proven success in growing revenue within an existing book of business through strategic upselling/cross-selling.
Technical skills:
  • Proficient with CRM platforms, sales enablement tools, and social media platforms (i.e., LinkedIn).
People Skills:
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Adaptable and eager to take on client and sales-related challenges.
