Job summary

A leading staffing agency is seeking a Resident Electrical Engineer in Plymouth to ensure the quality of electrical installations. The role involves supervising a team, delivering site quality, and maintaining compliance with safety regulations. Candidates should have a degree or HND in engineering and experience with complex electrical systems, ideally in a nuclear or marine setting. This is a 12-month position offering the opportunity to work on critical infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Ideally Degree or HND in an appropriate engineering discipline.
• Ideally equivalent nuclear and/or marine system knowledge.
• Sound understanding of company and departmental procedures relating to Health and Safety.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality delivery by witnessing installation and commissioning processes.
• Assist construction team with communication and problem-solving.
• Supervise and provide guidance to junior staff.
