Location: London (minimum 3 days per week) with travel to Europe.
Benefits include: Annual Leave: 28 days per annum, increasing to 30 days after 5 years of service, plus bank holidays. Bonus: Up to 5% annual bonus. Following on from the success of the new nuclear power station at Hinkley Point C (HPC), the Sizewell C Project (SZC) in Suffolk is the UK’s next nuclear power new build project. The project has obtained planning approval and has started construction works. It has recently achieved Financial Investment Decision (FID) meaning that all the funding for the full lifespan of the project is now secured and in place guaranteeing the full delivery of this new nuclear power station. When completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years, which along with renewables, will support Britain to achieve Net Zero by 2050.

At Sizewell C, you’ll be part of a trailblazing project, building on the success of Hinkley Point C (HPC). With planning approval secured and government funding in place, construction is set to kick off this year in beautiful Suffolk. Be a key player in this multi-billion-pound venture – one of the largest and most exciting developments in the UK today.
As a Project Manager in the Nuclear Islands (NI) programme, you’ll be in the driver’s seat, managing a high-performing multi-disciplinary team and overseeing the end-to-end delivery of critical systems, structures, and components for buildings and contracts within the NI area. The NI is the heart of a nuclear power plant, housing critical components like the reactor, steam generators, and containment structure, generating heat through nuclear fission and ensuring safety with robust systems and controls. The NI works alongside the Conventional Island, which converts steam into electricity, forming the core of the plant’s operations. As the Project Manager (NI) your role involves helping to define the NSSS piping scope and manage it through the EPCC lifecycle. You will build and manage relationships with both the Sizewell C design partner and the Sizewell C MEH alliance. You will use a strong technical background to influence and/or take decisions to drive best value for Sizewell C.
You’re a seasoned Project Professional with a proven track record in delivering large-scale, complex projects and detailed experience piping and/or other heavy engineering delivery in major projects. Your experience spans:
