Job summary

A specialist education provider in Gosport is seeking a part-time Learning Support Assistant to provide support for young people with complex learning needs. This role involves working closely with students to enhance their educational experience and emotional well-being, while preparing them for adulthood. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, knowledge of safeguarding, and experience with special educational needs. The position requires a commitment to student welfare and an enhanced DBS check.

Qualifications

• Must have significant knowledge of Safeguarding and Prevent.
• Experience in supporting students with SEND and/or SEMH is essential.
• Grade C in English and Maths or equivalent is required.
