A leading charity initiative is seeking a passionate Employer Engagement Officer in Liverpool to enhance supported internships. This role involves securing work placements, building professional relationships, and advocating for individuals with learning disabilities. Applicants should have experience in engaging employers, alongside excellent communication and organizational skills. An exciting opportunity for a passionate and self-motivated Employer Engagement Officer to join our Supported Internship programme team in Ealing on a Full Time basis.
As an Employer Engagement Officer, your role is central to the delivery of our Mencap Training Academy. You will be responsible for finding suitable and high quality work experience and paid opportunities for learners with SEN on a Supported Internship Programme.

All candidates offered an interview for this role will need to provide evidence of their GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) at interview stage. Please have your certificates ready to be emailed across if you are contacted for an interview. Develop and maintain strong partnerships with multiple employers across a range of sectors. The Employer Engagement Officer will work closely with delivery teams, tutors and careers leaders.
