Job summary

A leading automotive recruitment firm is looking for a Senior HW/Device Test Engineer for a hybrid role based in Coventry. This position involves hands-on testing for advanced infotainment systems, focusing on Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) technologies. Candidates should have a strong background in automotive infotainment testing, experience with debugging and analysis tools, and a relevant degree in engineering. This is a critical 12-month contract position with an hourly pay rate of £25.27, offering a balanced work environment with three days on-site and two days remote.

Qualifications

• Proven background in automotive infotainment testing with specific exposure to Active NVH.
• Deep understanding of automotive communication protocols including CAN, Automotive Ethernet, and A2B.
• Direct experience with audio validation and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) rig setups.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver comprehensive test programmes for infotainment systems.
• Ensure all validation activities align with rigorous automotive quality standards.
• Maintain precise documentation of test procedures and validation results.
• Work alongside hardware, software, and NVH specialists for system validation.
