A leading food company in the UK is searching for a Supply Planner responsible for accurate stock management and forecasting. You will collaborate with various teams to improve product availability and manage supplier relationships effectively. This role requires experience in buying or supply planning and strong analytical skills. You will drive sales through proactive inventory planning and ensure quality throughout the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Experience in either buying assistant or supply planning role in food.
• Understanding of negotiation and supplier management.
• Owner mentality with demonstrated experience of continuous improvement and implementing process change.
• Strong analytical skills and proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Proactive with high levels of initiative and ability to seek out opportunities.

• Proactively driving sales and availability through forecasting and inventory planning.
• Managing and maintaining accuracy of all product and supplier data.
• Ensuring availability and waste in your category.
• Building supplier relationships for delivery accuracy.
