In recent years, Teledyne e2v has also secured contracts to deliver solutions at a focal plane level, including mechanical assembly, cryogenics and proximity electronics.With a long and enviable history of technical and scientific innovation, Teledyne e2v is always working at the forefront of technology.**Role Overview**The Assistant Project Manager will play a key role in assisting the delivery of complex projects for Teledyne e2v Space Imaging, providing essential support to project managers and teams. This position is ideal for someone organised, proactive, and keen to develop within a dynamic project environment focused on advanced technology and high reliability.**Main Responsibilities*** Assist project managers in the planning, monitoring, and administration of project schedules, resources, and budgets.* Assist in resource utilisation tracking and support PMs in capacity planning activities.* Liaising with workstream leads to support schedule updates and reporting.* Support the maintenance and update of project documentation (and storage in configuration management system), ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal processes.* Support project managers with the creation of project dashboards, KPIs and RAG summaries to aid decision making.* Monitor and report on project risks, issues, and progress, escalating concerns as necessary. Maintain project risk and opportunity registers.* Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, and follow up on action items to help keep projects on track.* Support procurement activities by tracking PO/PR status and coordinating with procurement where relevant.* Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements.* Support audit preparation as required.**Skills and Qualifications*** Previous experience in a Project Support/PM/PMO role is desirable.* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools. Ideally with experience in setting up and maintaining robust schedules within Microsoft Project* Experience with configuration/documentation management is desirable, but not essential.* Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.* Strong problem-solving capabilities.* Sound judgement - understanding when to own & brief and when to escalate.* A working knowledge of SAP PTC Windchill would be beneficial but not essential.Teledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
