Job description

Join us now as an Estates Services Advisor! This in an exciting time to join us as we respond to the changes to consumer regulation, tenant satisfaction measures, and achieve our corporate aims of having tenants at heart.

Please note: This is a part-time role (two and a half days per week, Mon – Weds) and the role is offered as a fixed-term opportunity initially until September 2026.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Provide vital administrative and operational support to Estates Officers to ensure the seamless delivery of high-quality estate services.
  • Manage schedules and coordinate responses to requests from customers and internal colleagues to maintain efficient workflows.
  • Assist in the end-to-end management of abandoned properties, vehicles, and tenancy terminations to ensure timely recovery of property.
  • Support the management of decants and void properties to minimise turnaround times and reduce associated costs.
  • Act as a key point of contact for customer inquiries, ensuring professional and timely communication in line with organizational standards.

To successfully deliver this role, you'll be required to either hold a driving licence or evidence the ability to travel throughout the area of operation (East and West Midlands).

Our Ideal Candidate? To be successful in this role, you'll have:

  • Experience of working collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders to coordinate and deliver a brilliant service and outcomes for customers.
  • Case management or account management experience, with the ability to respond to and manage changing priorities.
  • Experience of gathering information, proactively investigating queries and making independent evidence-based decisions to reach positive outcomes.
  • Knowledge of abandoned property, abandoned vehicle and gas cap processes and procedures.
