A leading health and social care charity in Falkirk is seeking a dedicated Advanced Support Worker. In this full-time role, you will support a young man with complex needs in his home, requiring daily assistance. Candidates must have experience with complex needs and hold an SVQ 3 in Health and Social Care. Responsibilities include medication administration, personal care, and supporting daily activities. This role is to support a young man who lives in his own home in Camelon, Falkirk. He has complex needs, including a learning disability and Autism spectrum disorder, and receives 2:1 support each day.
Prior experience supporting people with complex needs is essential, as we are looking for Advanced Support Workers who can share their knowledge and experience within the team.
Applicants with a SVQ 3 in Health and Social Care would be highly desirable.
Living in his own home, the team helps him build a fantastic life by supporting him to source new activities in his community. He requires support to keep himself safe and responds well to people who have a gentle and calm approach to his support.
We are currently recruiting for an additional full‑time (36 hour) Advanced Support Worker to join our team.
Respect, patience and understanding are key as the young man you’ll be supporting is adjusting to a new home environment. It’s important to take the time to understand him to help him live a fantastic life as independently as possible.
