Position Summary

The Country Manager will lead and oversee the company’s sales operations, developing and implementing strategies to drive growth, enhance customer satisfaction, while guarding profitability. This role requires a visionary leader with a strong background in sales, exceptional management skills, and a commitment to fostering a high-performance culture. The team in London is currently 35 people but we are looking to grow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the company’s sales strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.

  • Identify market opportunities and lead initiatives to capitalize on them.

  • Sales Management: Oversee the sales team, providing coaching, support, and direction to ensure targets are met.

  • Analyze sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as necessary to achieve goals.

  • Financial Oversight: Manage the sales budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.

  • Forecast sales trends and report on financial performance to the executive team.

  • Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor sales personnel, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high achievement.

  • Implement performance management systems to track progress and development.

  • Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective service and support.

  • Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes impacting sales operations.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and other departments to ensure alignment and synergy.

  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences, enhancing brand visibility.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field

  • Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role (2-5 years)

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to analyze data and market trends to inform strategic decisions.

  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
