Hours: Part time to include alternate weekend working

Location: Radbrook Nursing Home, Radbrook, Shrewsbury, SY3 6AL

Our team is looking to recruit a friendly and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to assist with delivering quality meals to our residents in the care home. This is a perfect opportunity to gain some experience within the kitchen or develop a new career in catering. You will be helping to ensure that our residents’ dietary requirements are met.

Responsibilities

• Take an active role in supporting the Chef with the preparation and delivery of meals for residents.
• Prepare fresh ingredients for various meals.
• Maintain a clean and tidy kitchen area that adheres to Health and Safety regulations and the home’s exemplary standards.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen environment.
• Clean crockery, cutlery and food preparation equipment.
• Assist in preparation of meals for service.
• Prepare food and ingredients for service.
