Location: Caerleon Mill Street Local Store, Caerleon Goldcroft Common, Newport Gwent, NP18 1BE

Pay: £12.60 per hour

Part time – 18 hours per week

Shift hours: Monday 17:00-23:00, Thursday 16:00-23:00, Sunday 17:00-23:00

Eligibility

• The minimum application age for this role is 18, due to the working hours and the type of goods (alcohol, tobacco, etc.) you may be required to handle.
• You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK.

What you’ll be doing

• Work as part of a small team to ensure that all aspects of the store are ready for customers and provide a convenient and speedy shopping experience.
• Collect stock from the warehouse using heavy roll cages (up to 15 kg) to replenish shelves, serve customers on the checkout, support with deliveries and keep the store well‑presented, clean and tidy.
• Pick and select the best quality products on the shop floor for customers using our On‑Demand grocery ordering service and assist customers with Click & Collect parcels.
• Always be ready to serve customers brilliantly, support with any questions, and proactively offer help.
• Build great knowledge about our products, services and promotions to help provide recommendations.
• Check date on fresh produce and grocery products.
