A healthcare organization in Scotland is seeking a Specialist Podiatrist for a full-time position based in Lerwick. The candidate will coordinate and lead podiatry services, offering high-quality care in specialist clinics. The role provides excellent personal development opportunities in a supportive team. Specialist Podiatrist (Ref: 238077) – Substantive • Full Time - 37 hours per week. Can be offered as a development post. Band 6 - Salary Range £41,668 to £50,775 per annum or Band 5 (Annex 21 during development), Salary Range £33,295 to £41,483 per annum. Plus Distant Island Allowance of £2,485 per annum. A Relocation Assistance of up to £8,000 is also available.
The post is based at Lerwick health centre, with other clinics held at the Gilbert Bain hospital, outlying health centres, domiciliary visits and care homes. Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.

As from 01/04/2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part-time hours will be reduced pro-rata with a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
