A leading energy company is seeking a Contracts & Governance Manager for a 12-month FTC in Greater London. The successful candidate will manage the entire contracting and deal lifecycle within the Trading function, ensuring compliance and effective risk management. Responsibilities include supporting contract development and documentation while collaborating with Legal and Compliance teams. This role offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to work in a dynamic and inclusive environment.
Yearly salary 60,000.00 GBP - 80,000.00 GBP
This role plays a key part in supporting the Trading team by delivering the full contracting and deal lifecycle within the Trading function. You will be a subject matter expert on complex contract approval and execution processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and effective risk management, while supporting the drive for continuous improvement through enhanced processes, training, and external collaboration.
You will deliver to the development, negotiation, and approval of non-standard transactions. You will also support the development and operation of Trading’s commercial framework, manage and evolve all contractual, governance, and procedural documentation, and work closely with Legal, Compliance, and key stakeholders to ensure documentation remains current, controlled, and fit for purpose, providing leadership and expertise to support change, strengthen governance, and enable the Trading business to operate efficiently and confidently.
