City of Newcastle - Newcastle, NSW - Support the team that delivers CN net zero and sustainability projects. Permanent Full-Time opportunity 35 hour working week with flexible working arrangements.

City of Newcastle's newly established Environment and Sustainability Service Unit is looking for an experienced Climate Change and Sustainability Advisor to deliver projects and initiatives that support the City of Newcastle's (CN) and the community's transition to net zero emissions and that contribute to the sustainability of CN operations.

As the Climate Change and Sustainability Advisor you will:

  1. Support the team to successfully achieve and deliver CN's net zero and sustainability projects.
  2. Drive improved community and sustainability outcomes with appropriate consideration of economic, social, environmental, and technical aspects.
  3. Assist with technical input, collaboration, and internal and external stakeholder engagement.
