We are currently looking to recruit two Industrial Electricians to work across the Tadcaster/Castleford and Hull regions in our maintenance department within our Wastewater business area. This is a mobile worker role.
Permanent. You’ll be working 37 hours per week. Out of hours, weekend working, and bank holidays will be worked as part of a structured stand‑by rota. Once fully trained you will be assessed for working on your own and will be required to participate in an out of hours standby rota which will include evenings, weekends, and overnight callouts (no more than one week in every four).

As an Industrial Electrician you will undertake maintenance of Yorkshire Water’s electrical and mechanical assets across wastewater treatment and pumping installations. You will work unsupervised in remote locations, deliver planned and reactive maintenance, and respond to emergency calls both in and out of hours (on‑call rota). Your responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing faults, installing and commissioning new plant, and supervising approved contract partners.
