Qualifications

HGV Class 1 Driver (Nights)

Menzies Distribution Solutions are looking for experienced HGV drivers that hold a C+E licence to join us, providing a first class service with our team in Coalville. You’ll also be required to carry out shunting duties so must be willing to be shunt trained. You’ll be undertaking the delivery & collection of product on behalf of Menzies Distribution Solutions Limited and its customers.

Key Information

• Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday Nights
• Start Times: Between 20:00 – 21:00
• Length of shift: 12 Hours
• Monthly Pay
• Parking Onsite
• Some of our work includes completing deliveries to breweries

Responsibilities

• General driving duties, observing current legal and best practice delivering and collection to/from our customer’s premises or other MDS locations.
• Delivering product on behalf of MDS and their customer
• Use of electronic P.O.D and up to date technology (full training will be given to ensure best practice)
• Assisting with loading and unloading
• Shunting duties (full training will be given)

Requirements

• A full UK C+E licence (essential)
• Excellent driving skills
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• ‘Right To Work’ in the UK
• Good knowledge of drivers hours and WTD regulations
• Being shunter trained would be preferred
• Must be able to use ratchet and straps
