A construction services provider is seeking an experienced Groundworks / Bricklaying Contractor in Cramlington, UK. The role involves carrying out drainage and structural alteration works within a factory environment. Responsibilities include installing concrete lintels, creating drainage channels, and breaking out concrete slabs. Candidates must have proven experience in bricklaying and groundworks, with a strong understanding of health and safety. Qualifications

• Proven experience in bricklaying, groundworks, and concrete works.
• Experience of grinding machinery essential.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality workmanship.
• Strong understanding of health and safety on site.

Responsibilities

• Carry out drainage and structural alteration works within a factory environment.
• Install a concrete lintel.
• Form a breach in an existing block wall.
• Create a new drainage channel connecting into existing site drainage.
• Break out and excavate a section of the factory floor.
• Create a 1.2m x 1.2m opening through the concrete slab.
