Qualifications

  • Experience as an Assistant Accountant.

Responsibilities

  • Produce spreadsheets and statistical data to support management.
  • Complete forecasts and estimates.
  • Assist with the production of Management Accounts.
  • Handle payroll and balance sheet reconciliations.

  • Perform cash flow analysis.
  • Reconcile manufacturer bonuses.

Overview

Vertu Hyundai Dunfermline

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join our team in Vertu Hyundai Dunfermline.

This is a Full-Time, permanent role where we are offering a basic salary up to £28,000 depending on experience plus an excellent range of company benefits.

Responsibilities

You will work alongside the accountant in the production of spreadsheets and statistical data to support the management team, and as an aid to business decisions.

Alongside day-to-day accounts you will also complete the following tasks:

  • Forecasts
  • Estimates
  • Assist with the production of the Management Accounts
  • Payroll
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Accruals and Prepayments
  • Cash Flow
  • Reconciling Manufacturer Bonuses
  • Credit Control
Qualifications / Attributes

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Assistant Accountant, who is looking to take the next step up. A working knowledge of the Kerridge accounting system would be ideal but not essential, as well as previous Motor Trade experience. You will have the ability to communicate effectively with all financial and non-financial colleagues, clients and customers.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft packages
  • Good organisational Skills
  • Excellent communication skills.
