Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams for fault resolution and support product design.
• Support the delivery of a secure mission critical Communication Information System.
• Provide out of hours support as part of an on‑call rota.

Skills

Expertise in physical server hardware architecture (HPE ProLiant / Dell PowerEdge)

Expertise in network storage solutions – SAN / NAS

Strong experience in physical network hardware architecture (Cisco)

Strong experience of virtualised environments including installation, configuration, and management (VMware, Hyper‑V)

Strong experience of Microsoft environments (365, ADUC, GPO, Certificate Services)

Expertise in Windows Server 2019 onwards

Installing and configuring backup solutions (Veeam)

Network understanding (Basic routing, subnetting, VLANs, Firewalls)

Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills

Strong communication skills

Education

UK National with a minimum residency of 5 years
