A global financial services company based in Greater London seeks a Trainee in Credit Risk Management. This role involves assisting the credit risk team with reports and analyses supporting the company's risk governance. Candidates should possess strong organisational and analytical skills, be comfortable managing multiple deadlines, and have proficiency in Office applications. Experience with PowerBI and a basic understanding of banking risk management is advantageous. The position encourages a proactive approach and offers significant exposure to senior management.
The Risk Management (RISQ) Division in the UK operates independently from the Business Lines. RISQ Division's mission is to contribute to the development of the SG Group's activity by facilitating the objectives of the Business Lines while maintaining independent oversight through risk evaluation and monitoring. The trainee role will have a direct reporting line to the Head of Credit Risk for SGLB.
The role is to assist the credit risk team of SGLB in maintaining and enhancing a portfolio view of the credit risks generated by SGLB’s activities. This entails producing regular management reports including key credit risk metrics and dealflow tracking, to be used by the SGLB Risk Management Committee, SGLB RISQ management or SGLB Executive Management. Regular management reports will be supplemented by ad hoc analyses as required, covering specific parts of the portfolio (Business Lines, Sectors etc.) or as part of stress testing.
