A reputable care home in Chesterfield seeks an experienced Acting Senior Care Assistant to provide compassionate, person-centred care and lead a dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a senior care role and hold an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care. Key Responsibilities:
Provide compassionate, person-centred care in line with residents’ care plans
Supervise and support care staff to deliver excellent standards of care
Administer medication safely and accurately
Monitor residents’ wellbeing and report any changes promptly
Maintain accurate care records and uphold confidentiality
Liaise with healthcare professionals and families
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and infection control standards
About You:
Previous experience in a senior care role (care home experience preferred)
NVQ Level 2in Health & Social Care
Confident in leading a team and administering medication
Compassionate, reliable, and professional
