Job description
Overview

EQUANS are looking for a Mobile Technical Supervisor working on our HMCTS contract in Redditch Magistrates Courts. This role is permanent and full-time, 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

The post holder is accountable for the delivery of supervision for the HMCTS contract and associated specifications for the contract.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise the delivery of the facilities services for the HMCTS Contract by supporting the Area Facilities Manager (AFM).
  • Support the AFM in achieving all SLAs in place.
  • Support the AFM in achieving all KPIs.
  • Support the AFM in achieving 100% statutory compliance.
  • Ensure H&S compliance to legislative and EQUANS standards.
  • Supervise the team, including PDRs, succession planning, absence and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures and that they are followed by all personnel involved on contract.
  • Work closely with the HMCTS SDMs to deliver an excellent service in support of EQUANS objectives.
  • Generate and foster an interdependent Health and Safety culture across all services.
  • Ensure that all risks relating to safety, health, environment and quality are effectively managed using risk assessments, PPE, training and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment for both employees and service users.
  • Ensure all accidents and near misses are adequately recorded, investigated and appropriate action taken.
  • Develop effective working relationships with operational personnel, suppliers and sub-contractors to improve operational performance.
  • Create a positive working environment for the team.
  • Identify ways to improve the services and work with the contract team to introduce these.
  • Evidence knowledge and understanding of the SLAs, opportunities and risks present.

This is not an exhaustive list and the Technical Supervisor will be required to be flexible as the contract develops. A Full BPSS clearance is a requirement upon taking up the position.

Qualifications or Required Experience
  • Excellent customer skills with the ability to supervise a large number of engineers.
  • Meet expectations within the HMCTS Contract.
  • PC literate with knowledge of MS Office applications; ability to use Excel; familiarity with Maximo is desirable.
  • Excellent motivation and influencing skills.
  • Commercial awareness would be beneficial.
  • Sound understanding and experience of risk assessment/management.
  • Thorough knowledge and experience of Safety, Health, Environmental & Quality assurance systems.
