A prominent nursery provider in Warwick is seeking a SENDCO Lead to support children with special educational needs and disabilities. The role demands collaboration with families and external agencies to create tailored support plans. Candidates should be Level 3 qualified with experience at a senior level and a strong understanding of safeguarding and SEND regulations. By taking the lead in assisting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to engage fully in learning and reach their potential.
Through leading collaboration with families, staff, and external agencies to design and implement tailored support plans that meet each child’s needs.
By taking responsibility for promoting an inclusive, nurturing environment where all children feel valued, supported, and able to thrive.
Must be at least Level 3 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification and experience of working at a senior level.
Have a detailed understanding of the requirements set by Ofsted.
Excellent understanding of EYFS.
Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.
Experience of working with children with SEND requirements.
Experience of working in partnership with parents and outside agencies.
Ability to demonstrate multi agency working and experience of leading staff meetings
