Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of care is beneficial, but no formal experience is required.
  • Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Overview

We’re excited to announce the upcoming opening of Walker House — a brand-new, purpose-built care home in the heart of Andover, opening its doors in February. This is a unique opportunity to join our team from the very beginning and help shape the culture, values, and exceptional care standards that will define Walker House. Ahead of the grand opening, new team members will begin their journey by working in our established homes nearby. This supported induction period offers hands‑on experience, training, and the chance to become fully embedded in our approach to care before transferring to Walker House as part of its founding team.

Support Worker Role

At Liaise, we are inspired by our values of Positive, Progressive, and Personal support, and we are looking for male Support Workers who believe in our vision to ensure that every person we support leads a happy, purposeful life. We are looking for caring people to join our fabulous team as a Support Worker or a Care Assistant. Full training and support will be given.

Shift Pattern for Day Support Worker
  • 12‑hour day shifts – 8am – 8pm
  • 42 hours weekly
  • Every other weekend included
Shift Pattern for Night Support Worker
  • 12‑hour night shifts – 8pm – 8am
  • 42 hours weekly
  • Every other weekend included
Driving Requirements (preferred but not essential)
  • A full UK manual driver’s licence
  • Held your UK licence for at least 2 years
  • 25 years of age or older (for insurance purposes)
  • Confident and comfortable driving
Responsibilities
  • Assist those we support by helping with daily tasks, using the training provided
