Overview

Fast Track Mortgage Adviser Academy (12 Month Commission Guarantee included). An opportunity to commence a long-term career in Financial Services as a full-time, employed, CII-qualified Mortgage & Protection Adviser with a leading UK mortgage provider. Home-based working is available after completing the first 16 weeks of office-based training.

Trainee Mortgage Adviser

Responsibilities

• Provide mortgage and protection advisory services by contacting customers, securing appointments, and progressing applications with the support of Adviser Support Teams.
• Write mortgage and protection business, including a high volume of cases per month.
• Demonstrate a strong focus on customer service and sales while maintaining quality advice and compliance.

Requirements / Qualifications

• A strong desire to work within the Financial Services industry, particularly in mortgages and protection.
• A strong track record in customer service and sales.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and listening skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
• Organised, disciplined, and structured approach to work.
• Highly competent with IT and a Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Salary & Benefits

• Enhanced salary and guaranteed commission structure during training: basic salary plus guaranteed commission up to £30K per annum for weeks 1–16, with progression up to £32.5K (weeks 7–10) and £35K (weeks 10–16).
• From month 17, £25.5K basic salary plus unlimited commission with a realistic OTE of £45K+.
• Post-training guaranteed monthly commission increasing in tiered increments; realistic OTE of £50K+ in the second full year.

Location & Training

Location: Initially office-based for the first 11 weeks at the Academy Centre in Nottingham, with 5 weeks remote training thereafter. Remote working continues once qualified.

Working hours: 9:30 AM–5:00 PM, Monday to Friday during the 16-week training period. No holidays during training.

Post-training hours: A mix of 9:00 AM–6:00 PM and 11:00 AM–8:00 PM, Monday to Friday. No weekend work required for ongoing role.

Timeline: Immediate interviews.

Note: Attendance of 11 weeks in the Nottingham office followed by 5 weeks remote training is mandatory for all applicants.
