A respected hospice in Wakefield seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality nursing care to patients nearing the end of life. Location: The Prince of Wales Hospice, Halfpenny Lane, Pontefract; Registered Nurse; Location: The Prince of Wales Hospice, WF8 4BG. At The Prince of Wales Hospice, we provide specialist palliative care in a supportive and respectful environment. Our 14-bed inpatient unit, located just minutes from Junction 32 of the M62 in Pontefract, also offers outpatient and community services, including a successful Lymphoedema clinic.
As a Registered Nurse at our Hospice, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to patients nearing the end of life. Working closely with patients, families and carers, you’ll promote dignity, comfort and choice, while supporting the emotional and physical well-being of those we care for.
You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team committed to excellence, continuous learning, and compassionate care. You’ll also contribute to mentoring and developing junior staff and students, ensuring a positive and professional environment for all.
We’re looking for someone who is not only clinically skilled but also deeply empathetic and committed to hospice values.
