Overview

Direct Support Professionals provide direct assistance and support services to address the needs of individuals with disabilities in a residential program at The Arc of Bristol County dba proAbility, a non-profit which serves communities in RI and MA. The Direct Support Professional reports directly to and receives weekly and/or as needed support and supervision from their Team Supervisor and/or supervisor.

Available Shifts – Job #/Schedule

(Please include job number with application):

• #1505 – Sunday-Thursday 8:00am-3:00pm, 35 hrs/wk
• #1518 – Sunday 8:00am-3:00pm, Saturday 8:00am-3:00pm, 14 hrs/wk

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma required
• At least 18 years of age
• One year experience working with people with disabilities and their families preferred
• Safe driving record, current driver’s license, personal vehicle, and current motor vehicle liability insurance required, ability to successfully pass criminal background checks
