Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy is inviting applications for Drainage Engineers at all levels to join their expanding team in Belfast, Derry, or remotely. The ideal candidates will have a degree in Civil Engineering, experience in surface water drainage design, and knowledge of relevant design standards. This permanent role offers a hybrid working model, comprehensive training, and various benefits including a pension scheme and health insurance. Salary is dependent on experience.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • Experience in surface water drainage design.
  • Understanding of drainage approval processes and relevant design standards.

Responsibilities

  • Contributing to the planning and design of drainage infrastructure.
  • Preparing Drainage Assessment and Drainage Strategy reports.
  • Designing surface water and foul drainage systems.

Skills

Experience in surface water drainage design
Proficiency in MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage, or Causeway Flow
Strong organisational skills
Ability to prepare professional technical reports
Experience in SuDS or nature-based drainage design
Understanding of drainage approval processes

Education

Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
