Domestic Assistant (Full Time) (KD13278) – Bath, BA2 7AY

About the role
As a Domestic Assistant, you’ll play a key role in helping students transition from living at home to fully independent living, ensuring that all accommodation users have the best possible experience during their stay.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning accommodation areas
  • Reporting maintenance issues
  • Ensuring health and safety guidance is followed
  • Acting as the face of the department by engaging with students and visitors
Working hours and rota

This role is 36.5 hours per week, working shifts from 9:00 am–5:20 pm Monday to Thursday and 9:00 am–5:10 pm on Friday. The role operates on a 5‑over‑7 rota, with weekend work on a rota basis, mainly during the summer peak period.

About the department

The University of Bath’s Campus Services houses over 5,000 students throughout the academic year and manages accommodation for conferences, summer camps, and away days. Campus Services, created in August 2022, brings together student living, hospitality, retail, cleaning, security, postal services, and landscaping teams.
